Oh how I love shooting on Lake Como!
Last summer a dreamy love story unfolded, as an American couple embarked on a journey of love and intimacy. Against the backdrop of serene waters and verdant landscapes, their elopement captured the essence of romance in its purest form.
It was a cloudy day, yet the weather seemed inconsequential as love illuminated every corner of the terrace overlooking the majestic lake. Wisely chosen by Michela Lunardi, the wedding planner, the terrace served as the perfect stage for their vows to be exchanged and their hearts to be united.
As the couple prepared for their special day in the same building, albeit on different levels, anticipation mingled with excitement. The air was charged with the promise of forever, as they eagerly awaited the moment when they would become husband and wife.
With tender glances the couple sealed their love amidst the ethereal beauty of Lake Como.
It was a quick assignment for me, just 3 hours, but I was happy to ask the groom, a photographer himself, if he wanted to capture portraits of his radiant bride. It was nice, for once, seeing someone else shooting one of “my” weddings 🙂
Following the heartfelt ceremony the newlyweds embarked on a classic tour by boat, gliding gracefully across the waters of Lake Como. It was a moment of serenity and enchantment, as they basked in the beauty of their surroundings and savored the intimacy of the occasion.
As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow upon the horizon, the couple raised their glasses in a toast their love, It was a moment of pure bliss, a celebration of their union amidst the splendor of Lake Como.
