Afte my summer holidays (yes, I need to take 15 days to relax a little bit, guilty!) I had the privilege of capturing a beautiful wedding in the stunning Castelnuovo Grilli in Tuscany. The bride and groom were referred to me by a common friend, a beautiful girl and an the best make up artist in italy called Giulia Ceccherini, and from the very beginning we hit it off.
We had an amazing time during their engagement shoot and it was great fun working with them again on their wedding day.
The ceremony was held at the historic Chiesa del Bagno in Castiglion Fiorentino, a charming town in Tuscany. The wedding was graced with the presence of flag wavers in full costume, as they were involved in the local Palio dei Rioni. The ambiance was lively and the couple exchanged their vows amidst this festive atmosphere.
The lighting inside the church was breathtaking, and I was able to capture some of the most beautiful moments between the couple. After the ceremony we drove to the venue and had 10 minutes for a portrait session at the castle. The couple was already at ease, having had the engagement shoot, and this made the portrait session fun and relaxed.
The dinner was held under the stars and the dancing and merriment continued for hours. It was a truly joyous occasion and I felt privileged to be able to capture these wonderful memories for the couple. I worked with my friend Fabio from Juniper Wedding Videos, who shares the same attitude as me when it comes to capturing moments. We worked seamlessly as a team and if you’re looking for a video he’s your guy!
Overall, it was an incredible experience and I feel fortunate to have been a part of this beautiful wedding. Castelnuovo Grilli in Tuscany provided the perfect backdrop for this lovely couple’s special day and I’m grateful to have been the one to capture it all through my lens.
