I am always on the lookout for beautiful venues and breathtaking locations to capture the perfect shots of a couple’s big day so, when I was asked to photograph a wedding at Castello di Petrata in Assisi, I was thrilled.
The bride was from Italy, and the groom from Denmark, but they currently reside in Bulgaria, making this a truly multicultural affair.
The day started with the bride getting ready, she was assisted by the incredibly talented make-up artist Giulia Ceccherini and she was wearing a wonderful white dress. The ceremony was set to take place outside, but as luck would have it, a light rain started pouring down.
However, this did not dampen anyone’s spirits. In fact, it only added to the romantic and emotional atmosphere of the day. You could see the love in the air, and it was truly heartwarming.
After the ceremony, we had a few minutes to capture some portraits of the newlyweds and we were incredibly lucky when a rainbow appeared in the sky, providing the perfect backdrop for some truly epic shots. The light was just right, and we were able to create some stunning memories for the couple.
The dinner was a fun-filled affair, with delicious food and some incredibly moving speeches. It was clear that this couple had a lot of love and support from their friends and family, and it was an honor to be a part of it all. And of course, no wedding is complete without some crazy dancing, and this one did not disappoint.
I have to give a special shoutout to Alice from Unique Events in Tuscany for her perfect planning. She always does an amazing job, and it makes my job as a photographer so much easier. All in all, this was a truly beautiful wedding, and it was an honor to capture these special moments for the happy couple.
