I like first times. It’s always a challenge to me.
This was the first time I was shooting a fellow wedding photographer getting married so I had a lot of responsibilty being chosen from a person that does my same job!
The wedding was held at Villa di Striano, Borgo San Lorenzo (in Mugello area), a wonderful location that I really enjoyed shooting at.
Ylenia and Andrea made everything simple for me since they are so in love, they have such a wonderful chemistry that it all came out naturally, no need to ask anything, they where perfect together so I just had to shoot in my own way and style. Andrea was aware, of course, of what I would have needed for a good job since he’s usually from the other side of the camera and really this was very helpful for me and my second shooter.
I really liked the ceremony, it was very emotional and there was a lot of tears during the speeches, it was a touching moment for everyone.
Andrea surprised everyone asking to dance at the end of the ceremony (they knew each other thanks to the dance) and then we started our quick couple photoshoot looking for some nice shadows (you know, that’s my thing) and then moving outside for the last rays of light.
After the dinner there was a flashmob (making the newlyweds dancing with all their friends) and then the party started with some crazy dances, they nailed it since the really know hot to move on a dancefloor !
I really appreciated this wedding, it all felt right, nice mood, a lot of emotions, a lovely couple and a perfect weather.
What else could you wish for? this is the best job in the world.
